Bandiera del Calcio DA 13
In 2019, the Fiorentina Museum established a new special award dedicated to Davide Astori, created specifically to underline and reward both the career and the moral example of those few players who have represented both Italy and their domestic sides. In football, a real “Bandiera” not only leads with example on the pitch, but above all shines brightly with the sporting and moral values of which they have been a virtuous example. This important recognition, named “Bandiera del Calcio DA 13” represents the natural testimony left by the moral heritage of Davide Astori.

BULGARELLI Giacomo
A career entirely in rossoblu, right from the youth team. Nineteen championships in Serie A, one of the most representative players of Italian football in his era. Those were the times of the great midfielders and Giacomo was one of the best interpreters of the role. A loyal opponent, the captain of our opponents in the Apennine derby. Italian Champion in 1963-64, winner of two editions of the Italian Cup in 1969-70 and 1973-74 and European Champion with the Italian national team in 1968. We are pleased to award the “DA13 Football Flag” award to memory of Giacomo Bulgarelli, captain and flag of Bologna.
Awarded the DA13 Bandiera del Calcio

RIVA Luigi
An exceptional player with great spirit and a very strong shot, who found the back of the net after passing the most determined of full-backs. His acrobatics, overhead kicks and diving headers made up some of the best clips in the first football film libraries. Here was a man who did not want to leave Sardinia – a country in which he had become a symbol – refusing the millionaire offers that arrived every summer. Gigi Riva was the greatest Italian striker of all time: 35 goals in 42 matches with the National Team, three times top scorer in Serie A, European Champion in 1968, vice-world champion in 1970. A true example of sporting and human values.
Awarded the DA13 Bandiera del Calcio.
